The composite image is of the galaxy NGC 3077 combining 250خ¼m (red), 8.0خ¼m (green), and 4.5خ¼m (blue) images from the Herschel Space Observatory and the Spitzer Space Telescope. The 250خ¼m and 8.0خ¼m images show cool dust and warm polycyclic hydrocarbon emission displaced from the center of the galaxy by internal star formation and its interaction with nearby galaxies M81 and M82.
